Community Church is an independent church which maintains ties with both the United Church of Christ (UCC) and the Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA), out of respect to those two denominations from which we were formed in 1924*.  We cooperate with both in missions and ministry,* and give preference to selecting pastors from these denominations wherever possible.
